The Assoluto Shopping Bag heralds a new era of material innovation for Valextra. As the first tote in this series, it has considered the ergonomics and the desire behind the demands of an everyday handbag. Crafted from regenerated nylon ECONYL®, it marries Valextra’s time-honed expertise in leather craftsmanship with a cutting-edge sustainable material that balances timeless style with statement engineering. Inside, the central chamber is lined in our signature Millepunte leather and features a individual spaces for valuables, everyday essentials and a laptop or similar device. This capacity is easily expanded or reduced with discreet side snap-fastening closures that make it as intuitive as it is desirable. On its external side, its two useful pockets respond to everyday functionality and are fastened with a zip that lies beneath a water-repellent seal protecting their contents. Meanwhile, the Valextra signatures complement engineering advancement – our black lacquered Costa edges finesse the leather details, while our signature foiled code is embossed internally where only its owner can see it.

Light undertones of colour and veins are intrinsic to this natural product and add to their uniqueness, while our artisanal processing and dyeing techniques emphasise the natural grain of our Millepunte, Pavé and smooth leathers combining superb functionality with finesse.

    To best preserve your Valextra item, we recommend you take the following steps:

    - Keep it away from humidity, rain, over-exposure to direct light and sources of heat

    - Avoid contact with alcohol, perfumes, oils and cosmetics

    - Avoid using waterproofing products

    - Avoid dark-coloured surfaces and light-coloured surfaces coming into contact to prevent colour migration

    - In case of contact with water, wipe the surface with a clean, dry and soft light-coloured cloth

    - To clean leather and metal hardware, wipe the surface with a clean, dry and soft light-coloured cloth
