The Museo Poldi Pezzoli is home to one of the most remarkable collections of Milanese art in the history of the city. Originally home to Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli, an aristocrat with liberal ideals, a political exile, a meticulous collector, a Dante scholar, a friend of artists and museum directors, its existing collections reflect his enduring and ever-prevalent passions.
"In the first place, I’d like to stress the fact that the building where these pictures were taken is a historical museum whose collection includes numerous art treasures, as well as jewellery representing our everyday life. We couldn’t have asked for more. As far as we are concerned, Milan is the city that best embodies the dynamicity that comes with doing business in different sectors."

A Palazzo of Inspiration
The palazzo comprises works by Piero della Francesca, Il Pollaiolo, Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, and more, and since the death of Poldi Pezzoli in 1879 it has become an art foundation benefitting artists and artisans, encouraging generations of enigmatic thinkers and dreamers to come.
